How frequent do you get paid? For me it's weekly and it's mega hard to budget!!! It's unfeasible to be paid weekly!!

sometimes daily, sometimes weekly, monthly or even never, its part of the joys of having staff to pay and being the last in line for wages, but all my employees are paid weekly

I used to get paid weekly and loved it!! Simple to arrange direct debit dates so they are spread over the month. If I go back to my old job it's changed to 4 weekly now.

In previous jobs I was paid 4 weekly (every 28 days). In my current job it's monthly.

Would be hard to budget if I was paid weekly as all my bills come in monthly.

This is weird. I was remembering getting weekly brown envelopes with my pay in 30 years ago. Now you don't see money.

I get paid when the client decides to pay my invoice. That can get tricky at times.

Wages monthly, tax credits weekly. Wages pay all the big stuff like rent etc. Tax credits cover the shopping, bus fares, utilities etc.

I prefer weekly pay, as I found it easier to budget.

I am monthly paid and it runs out way too quickly.

When I was in permanent employment, that was monthly and my second job was weekly which was great until they decided to change it to 4 weekly, a big struggle for a month. It did mean however that I often got 'paid' fortnightly and 3 times in September. Now I'm temping I'm paid weekly by them and 4 weekly by the second job. Overall I think I'd rather get paid weekly and pay money into a separate account for bills

Now you have to deliver, whatever happens.

My best paying client has to be the one who paid me the day after I sent the invoice. The worst took 14 months.

I remember this too...a cellophane pay packet every Friday with a staple through the notes plus your payline...those were the days when £60 managed to pay my board, my rail fare and a couple of nights on the lash...hated going onto monthly pay but after so many years I'm used to it now

That transition from weekly to monthly was a challenge. It was in the days before I had credit cards or savings.

moston

Generally on either 60 or 90 days net

One or two will pay on 30 day net.

So the best I can hope for is about 6 weeks from finishing a job to getting paid

Interesting, I'm paid monthly and get the same each month (basically my annual salary divided by 12) irrespective of whether it's a 28, 30 or 31 day month.

I pay weekly , monthly would be more cost effective however some would struggle to adapt x

Weekly, but it makes no real difference to me. I will see a difference when/if they get my contract sorted out and I go on monthly pay, as it means a month of working in hand.

I get my invoices paid weekly but they are always 2 weeks in arears so if there is a mistake have to wait a further week to get the outstanding ballance

monthly would be a pain in the ass as then would be a further month to get the outstanding
