your local town centre??

we decided to spend a day today doing just that in Boston, bloody fascinating, kept away from the shops and explored all the little alleyways and museums.

learnt so much we didn't know and had a lovely day, only time we ventured into the very centre was for lunch.

try it sometime in your town, you may be surprised what you find out.

Brighton - even Hove!

The summer I moved to Brighton, I was unemployed so instead of looking for a job, I spent it walking about exploring. Very often, if you look up, there are statues and interesting architecture. The people watching was fascinating. Fond memories of being single and a lazy bastard.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Always look up. There is usually something to see, even if it's just the date the building was erected.

Glasgow

A number of towns and cities are having Doors Open days over the next few weekends.

A chance to get inside buildings not normally open to the public.
