Take a break. Nothing anyone says will help. It's something you need to sort out in your head with the help of your other half. Being on here will magnify any insecurities you may have whether they are justified or not. It needs to come from within though. Good luck.

I have been the same, I stopped meeting because if this, ive only had one meet this year, ive lost some weight so feeling better but I still have body image problems and a long way to go, believe me your not alone x

When someone feels as you do any reassurance given by strangers is shallow and doesn't last, you need to take time off and get your self esteem back. Good luck

A lot of us feel like that sometimes.

One of the reasons we don't meet anymore is because I told Kate I didn't want to have sex with other women anymore, but really, deep down I think I couldn't understand how women could fancy an ageing guy like me.

It's easy to say "you look great" or "you don't look any different to lots of others" but once the thought is in your head it's hard to get it out isn't it.

It's just got to come from within ...anyone can have body issues from the smallest to the largest of people ..focus on some part of yourself you're more comfortable with and work it !!! ... (for what it's worth you're gorgeous) xx

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Jules, have a look at Body Gossip.

It's a great charity and some of the stories are very inspirational. They do a lot of work with young people but the lessons are essentially the same for all of us.

I met them a couple of years ago and was inspired to change the narrative in my head about what I look like. It was a real turning point for me and even though I am fatter now than I ever have been I feel more comfortable in my skin than I ever have before.

Take time to get to know your body again - not as you imagine it but as it feels to you and then listen to the stories you are telling yourself about your body.

I always say to people, remember not everyone sees you how you see yourself but its hard to accept that, I think my biggest problem is the fact my husband left me for another woman and I just think if my own husband didn't want me why would anyone else, its been 6 years now but I still carry that thought, odd i know

I'm sorry to here this Jules. What's made you feel this way? Has there been a trigger. We can all tell you your gorgeous but you have to believe it yourself. In all seriousness everyone one here seems to go through various issues mainly caused by inconsiderate message creating a lack if respect. Some just respond or ignore and others stew on things. I agree with the main theme of hiding your profile and coming back when your ready. There's nothing wrong with your profile or pics, in fact the opposite but mental strength is the key to success on here. I hid my profile a while and was more curious to see what or who I missed when I came back xx hope this helps xx
