Clothing Size!!!

Ok so recently I am having problems finding clothes sizes that actually fit well.

I wear different sizes from different stores depending on the item (i.e. trousers, jeans, jumpers, shirts etc.)

When it comes to jeans and trousers, I am quite tall but have a thin waist so I can never get the ratio right.

Also, when buying clothes for my top half my shoulders and upper-body are bigger and wider than my waist. If I buy an Large(L) size then its too tight up above and if I buy a Extra L (XL) its to loose and frumpy near my stomach

Can you buy tailored fitted clothing?

I need some help from a fashion guru.... any advice?

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

There are shops that can alter and tailor clothing.

My ex used to get all his shirts altered at a local tailors - he's pretty well built, does weights so has big arms and shoulders and narrow waist, and they used to taper in the waist gently to sit right

Or you could stop working out and slob on the couch for a while, that'll bring the necessary adjustments.

ffs, did i say couch, i meant sofa.

even though I'm a size 12, jeans are loose at the top but fit fine round my legs, so just buy leggings

CHESTER

I have that problem with all my tops!!

Though a man in a well made tailored shirt is sexy so you should invest in some of those

Well I guess I know what some of you ladies go through

I will definitely look into tailors and clothing alteration services as my body change, I cannot afford to throw out expensive clothing I have bought.

Ohh yes I plan to, a nice fitted shirt tucked into a nice fitted pair of trousers.

Hope to drive the ladies wild

The land of grey peas and bacon

It's a nightmare with clothes for me...i have a long body so tops are short...I have long legs so dresses are short...I have boobs so tops are too tight around the bust but fine around the waist...then have to buy bigger tops and I look like I'm wearing a tent lol

Central

I always think guys get a raw deal as often the measurements are on your clothes, such as jeans on your waists. There could be revolutions if female clothing did that.
