Thought i'd do one off my bucket list ( makes a change from the wrist heh) whilst i still can. So,

this Saturday i'm going to venture into a Primark.

Is it really as bad as it sounds?

ps there's no way i'm gonna do a double and have a Subway whilst i'm in town. That's on another type of bucket list.

You need a map and plan of action. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Look for someone with a sense of purpose in their stride, they will be seasoned vets and know where the crocs and onesies for men are

No Primark isn't as bad as some people will have you believe. I've bought some things in there that have been ok.

You know what if you go in not expecting much it's good, don't expect stuff that's going to last you 2 years, we go there to buy stuff for holidays you can kit the whole family out for a fortnight's holiday for 200 quid,

The thought of second hand clothes gives me shudders, especially trousers etc worn around the crotch blahhhhh. I prefer Pri marni to 2nd hand shops, not that I buy clothes for me tbh but do for others from there, x

I have never been in one either, I thought I was the only person left in England who hadn't venture into the Primark shopping frenzy, I don't feel so alone now

Cheap quality, poorly fitting, I only ever buy anything for dressing up for a pub shift and Subway is far better quality

Then when its closed they pick them up, put them on hangers and you buy them the next day, foot prints and all

Go armed, be determined, don't give way for anybody, an unwritten rule. Before you enter.. Don a tin hat. Wrap your ankles in protective wadding... Prams become lethal weapons, in there...elbows!! Yes use them ruthlessly, when rummaging in bargain bins! Enjoy your shop! if all else fails skip over the road to monsoon.

I buy my fluffy night shirts and bed socks, basically winter nightwear, from Primark and its been ok, they seem to wash ok.

I go to the Primark in Selfridges in the bullring, Birmingham, clothes arent thrown around in there

I've seen my daughter wear some nice stuff and when I ask, she says it's from primarnii.

I've been in there twice and all I ever see is thin, nasty cloth in shapeless designs and it smells of feet and plastic.

Does it get dangerous if you pull any red tops off of the racks/floor?
