Hi , can anyone advixe me how to upload photo,s from my phone on to my laptop ?

i have phone connected to laptop but no icon or anysign saying import images , thanks

You need to download Kies software onto your laptop first. Its free, just Google it.

Click 'Computer' and it may appear in there.

My S2 is a wanker, it works when it wants, it works when it waaaaaants, my phones a wanker - it works when it wants.

Its also an S2

You need to enable the phone to be connected as USB mass storage device in the settings menu. Or you can email yourself the pics. Or save them to googledrive and open them on your computer.

If you're having no luck. Download something like Dropbox on your phone via the play store. Upload the photos. Then access them via the Internet on the pc. Tbh. You shouldn't really need kies. The phone can normally be recognised like a storage device. Although downloading kies will give you the drivers

When you connect phone to pc on phones status bar should see a USB icon click on icon tick box. Check pc via my computer and see if it shows. If it don't unplug and plug back in wait couple of mins and should work. Make sure pc is on Internet so it can install any drivers it needs.

I use Dropbox. Easy to access your pics from a comp and download pics onto your hard drive

Download kies air and you can do it via wireless, no need for the cable at all.
