Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

It's times like these when 24 hour news channels start to look very silly.

Standing around speculating, reconfirming the minimal facts they DO have, stressing the unconfirmed nature of everything else they've heard (or, more likely, made up), interviewing whoever's nearest the camera irrespective of relevance or coherence.

I've switched it off - hopefully it'll edit together into a one minute summary.

Well.... He was jailed for assault (Some say on a 9 year old!) He came out of prison and SHOT a guy he didn't know. He then SHOT his ex girlfriend and then, despite having had a cooling off period, shot a police officer twice!

He then held a whole area virtually hostage causing some concern amongst the populace and threatened to turn his gun on anyone!

The bloke was a cunt!

Why people feel the need to be apologists for this scum is beyond me!
