Well, it looks like MPs of all main parties in Westminster have rejected the three leaders' vow to continue with the Barnett formula, stating they will block it and kill it.

So, the famous "vow" is broken already. Less than 48 hours after it was published, DevoMax is dead and off the table - just in time for folks to cast their votes oblivious to this fact... well what a surprise!

Surely this tells you all you need to know about the DevoMax con and the idea that you're "better together" under the governance of the very people who pulled this stunt on you. It was only another empty promise they never intended to keep in order to stop you smashing their corrupt system. If they were genuine, Scotland would already have these extra powers - so why are you not already better together?

Make no mistake... if you vote NO, there will be no DevoMax - no extra powers - nothing will change - you'll just get more of the same and you'll only have yourselves to blame.

There's a growing body of opinion in Westminster that Scotland needs to be put in its place and no longer given "freebies" - summed up by one MP who said: "If and when the Scots 'bottle it' on 18th September and vote no, they will see a stronger English voice because the people of England have had enough of Scottish self-indulgence."

Don't buy the Westminster machine's con yet again - don't bottle it - hold your nerve and vote YES... feel the fear, face it down and trust in your own abilities - you'll be amazed at what you're capable of.

As a Scot living in England I have no vote - started out a no - but the more we were told you can't have the pound / you can't have any defence capabilities etc its made me change my tune . Hoping for a yes . Mainly hoping we can show the world this can be done in a civilised fashion and that we're not rejecting anyone just making our own future . Good luck up there

If the scots vote yes, the'll need to set up Fabs Scotland. When the boarder fence and check points go in that will curb the cross boarder meets. Passport to get to the clubs in england, still at least they'll have prof of identity with them when they get there. That is ofcourse if they can afford the entrance fee after the scotish 'someting or other,,still to be announced' currancy crashes. Still nodoubt they think the good old brits will subsidise em and buy them a pint or three.

And all the time jolly old Mr Independence himself (Sammy) will be liveing the life of luxury at your expense.

I wouldn't be too sure of that.

As I have posted before. If Scotland wants to join the EU it will have to sign the Schengen agreement. That will mean that iScotland will have no border controls between itself and all other states in the Schengen zone, which is most other EU members.

rUK is not a Schengen signatory so the border to Scotland will have to be the same as the existing border to France (minus the water of course)

So today...I donned my Tammy and my Scottie dog brooch and gathered with my wee family. We shared a dram together and then walked in procession to our village hall to vote. The young ones in front.. their lives just beginning, besotted with each other and the growing "bump"... my unborn grandchild, our salute to the future. Us oldies dawdled along behind. An overwhelming sense of responsibility, a huge decision...but my belief is you can only go with your heart, whatever side of the fence you are on. I fear for the land I love.....fear the repercussions of our decision today whatever it may be. But my faith in Scotland and its people will always remain.

On my return home, the first thing to catch my eye was a painting I have in my hall bearing these words ....

First things first, I voted yes. I want a country (and I mean the UK here) that cares for the majority of people that live here instead of the minority of very very rich, that looks outwards, is progressive is European, is positive instead of being insular, narrow minded, fearful, suspicious. There seems to be some sort of feeling that it's an anti English thing. Let me assure you it isn't, far from . Anyone that's been to Scotland will tell you we are like every other part of Britain I've been to, are friendly, welcoming, social people but here's the rub. We don't as a rule vote for a certain political party because of the way they tend to act towards us, so how do we address that. Answer, govern ouourselves. Now tonight, I don't think this is going to happen, but we've been vowed to that we're to get more as yet undefined powers. Quite rightly, the politicians representing the other parts of the country will say yer not on so once again we're being lied to. One way or another this is undoubtedly true. Anyway the point of my long winded post is this. Scotland will not I think become separate tonight but Britain as a whole will undoubtedly change. I hope it's for the good. For us ALL!!

I disagree with some of your post. Any part of the UK should be treated the same, wether you're in Cornwall, Wales, Scotland or England. I totally disagree with Scotland been given any more devolved powers, I'm whole heartedly against it. we have a democratically elected government that represent the whole country.....we should all be governed the same.
