Been caught out by snipers myself many times.

Still, there's usually another item just like it that gets listed somewhere.

This will make you laugh.

There was something I was interested in. Can't remember exactly what it was now, but the seller had two listings (I.e. two lots). Both starting at 99p

So I stuck in a bid and was winning it for about 5 days until in the last hour or so, Bam, I'm outbid.

So I just placed a bid on the other item that hadn't been bid on and won that.

Some people are so caught up in the 'outbidding of others' that they lose sight of getting the best deal possible.

I sometimes play a game with these people now.

If I get outbid, I start pushing the price up by sticking in a few more bids.

I have bidder on things then been outbidded to then see the item back on saying buyer fell through...bollocks your friend bided on it and got caught out as I wouldn't bid any higher lol
