what song gives you goose bumps

Jump to newest

Totally didn't expect it but "Life in a Northern Town" by Dream Academy has just been on and I got goose bumps, heard the song loads of times but i think this is the first time I really listened to it.

The only other song that does that to me is U2s Streets, but thats only when I'm at the concert, the introduction on that track really gets the crowd going.

So what song is it for you?

I really doubt that that story is true. The word gay hadn't acquired that connotation to anything like that degree back in the mid 60's.

Torquay

Marvin changed his name in June 1961, long before the word 'Gay' had any connection to homosexuality.

The reason he changed his name was because his all time hero Sam Cooke added an 'e' to the end of his name to make himself sound more professional.

Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown suggested that Marvin did the same.
