day off work - lay on the sun lounger - ipod on - happy as larry (whoever he may be) - thoughts wandered off randomly to the past few years - just spent 2 nights and a fair chunk of the weekend with other half of us and i was missing him -dawned on me that when the crap hit the fan and me and the ex split up - i never actually missed him - felt more relief i think - he never did much with/for me and the kids and i dont think i once pined for his company since

- not happy or sad about this at all - but i did think that was a bit strange -

No I don't think that's strange, I never missed mine, I think when you want out, or are unhappy for a long period of time, its just relief that you feel.You kind of mourn the relationship whilst its going down the pan, afterwards its just nothing. I think that makes sense.

I was never upset over me and my ex husband splitting up, it took me all of about three weeks to get over it and that was more because I was shocked than anything. I know it takes some along while to get over a break up just didn't me
