I love taking the piss out of our local news paper. When there's no proper news, it does print crap.

Today's the best one yet... "Cat stuck up tree".

Anyone else see pointless stories from their paper?

School unable to provide hot meals due to a problem,fat parent complains that he has to pick her up and take her to the local cavery every day ! instead of making up buttys and soup in a flask.

York Evening Press can have some hilarious stories about stuck cats and lost belongings. I suppose there's not much local going on though so they have to pad it out for the advertisers.

We don't get a local paper anymore but a monthly, glossy magazine instead. I miss the "school kids steal road sweeper's cart" type stories.
