There was the music too, some of which is rather good. "Love Is Just A Four-Letter Word" by Baez is well listenable.

"I was just having a shuffle in the bath and the sings were playing in alphabetical order. I have four versions of I Heard It Through The Grapevine. In my opinion each time it got covered it got better. The first by Smokey Robinson is good but Marvin Gaye's one is a lot better. Then Creedence Clearwater Revival made an excellent version but I think the best one is by The Slits , they did it brilliantly and it's one offy favourite songs. Any other covers that are better than the originals ?" i prefer smokeys version and Donny hathaways version of what's going on. I prefer all covers of Neil Diamonds songs better than the originals and it goes without saying that every artist does Dylan songs better than the original. I can't get get no satisfaction by the stones is good but I prefer the Otis Redding version

I feel for you Chaka Khan better than the prince version, same with nothing compares to u, sinead O'connor House of the rising sun, the animals is best. Tainted love, soft cell is best.
