Why do people ask this so often on here? I'm aware that it's some kind of online chat function, but why are so few people willing to communicate without it, when you can just as easily chat back and forth on here?

I set one up just because it comes up quite often on here. Still not used it though. All chats I'm having are going through here.

I had a bloke who decided it was my fault be couldnt get to know me as he is never on here and I dont have kik, whatsapp etc.

He threw a right paddy about it!

I use it because you get a notification unlike on here (I don't have emails set up to my phone) and it's just as easy to send a quick reply on kik

I don't see why so many on here are so insistent on having kik or whatsapp, when this site offers perfectly good enough for chatting, exchanging pics and arranging meets. It's frustrating when someone refuses or makes it difficult for you to chat to them, simply because you don't have the same software they do.

Really?....are seriously suggesting that messaging on here is as good as kik?

Kik is instant messaging....you can see when someone has read your message...you can send pics and videos.you can also see when they are typing a response. You get notifications when you have a new message on your phone.

I use it for alot of things with friends and family...its not just a tool for swingers. Depending upon your data plan it's free to communicate worldwide...Unlike texting.

I could send a picture of my dog to my sister and watch her type a response knowing she has seen it.

There's no waiting on fab swinger site refreshing it to see if I've had a email......

The two don't compare....think of the wider use....not just for sex!

Would these features be really attractive to people on here??

In response to OP maybe some people like to chat through other means as logging into here means their inbox gets bombarded.

We quite like it as it's easier to keep in touch as you don't need to log in. It's as quick as a text message can do it when your put and about etc. We like wats app for with couples as we can have a group message which means that even if each partners not together at the time it's transparent and we can all see what's been talked about.

Whatsapp viber and kik all have their usp's but all of them are better than private messages on here, especially for non site supporters.

With kik you also get to browse reddit pics too.

Anyone who thinks the messaging system on here compares to the above really needs a reality check.

It may be more instant but on here I have the protection of the site - any problems or abuse and I can report and block.

As a single female who lives alone I am suspicious of anyone who wants to move offsite straight away. If I want to meet then I suggest it early and choose a public place and arrange it all on here.

I have no desire to start getting sexts and nude pictures at all hours from someone I haven't even met. Nor do I want to run the risk that any of my friends or family might pick my phone up and see something like that - I'm frequently around small children and often let them play games on my phone.

You can block on kik.....just as easy as you can block on here.

You can keep kik in a locked folder if that worries you...

But they would be the same if you use this site on your phone...no?
