Struggle to remember the face of someone you take a liking to?

I've just realised this tonight. I was thinking about a recent meet and how great it was that I can't for the life of me put the persons face together in my imagination?

Why does this happen?

I can remember the face of the one night stand I had in Portugal 30 years ago but I haven't got a clue on his name.

I do that too.

I met a man at Kestrels and he looked like a Tim so that's the name that fixed in my head. He told me that it's his brother's name but I still can't remember his name. He'll forever be Tim.
