Whose hosting one in aid of Macmillan? Our company is, can't wait for it, full buffet of tasty cakes and treats for sale, as well as coffee and tea of course, whatever we make on the day the company is going to double. A very worthy cause too, Macmillan do amazing work having dealt with them personally.

There's one in my workplace too, great effort all round.

A bank I used to work for used to do the matching of funds raised, nice to see - though I'm not great at baking I always made something!

We do the same too. Also, instead of sending Christmas cards to each other, we donate the money we usually spend on them and choose a charity to send it to.

Brilliant ! My Mum lost her battle , but her Macmillan nurse was a rock for all of us. So well done on raising so much.

Bedworth

Having worked in the university where their bi annual conferences take place, and having seen the bill they accrue, I no longer donate or take part in any of their fundraising activities

I now choose to support mainly small, local charities
