Due on Thursday.

1) which way would you go if you were m'Lady Judge?

2) which way do you think it will go? (May not be same)

We already know he's guilty, it's just to be determined whether he's guilty of murder or manslaughter.

Guilty but I suspect the messed about evidence will get him off.

Is it naughty to do the 'he hasn't got a leg to stand on' gag?

"Guilty but I suspect the messed about evidence will get him off. "

I also suspect the same. I have a friend out there who right at the start said this was a new OJ Simpson trial. So much so that South African bookmakers had him at odds-on to be found not guilty of murder!!

It would surprise me if he was put in a mental health hospital instead of prison.

I totally agree with this opinion. With his connections and celeb status, I definitely think he will get a much lighter sentence than what would be normal.

If this were to happen, he will serve longer than if in prison.

'Got to be mad to claim madness, often results in much longer sentences.

Guilty....

However, wouldn't suprise me at all, if it comes back, not guilty.

I sincerely hope he is found guilty of murder and serves a heavy sentence. Anything else would be a disgrace. Women in SA are victims of tremendous violence on a regular basis and justice is seldom done, I hope this case will provide a turning point.

I really hope not as he needs to pay for taking a life.

Hopefully the Judge will ignore the fog of irrelevance the defence has constructed around the killing.

How anybody can reasonably believe that the victim never uttered a word is beyond me.

However a white national sporting hero from a rich and powerful family, serving a long prison sentence?

he is guilty of killing her but I think it could be a manslaughter verdict

Lets be realistic here. She was shagging around with non-disabled men or women. But, that's not justification to kill a person.

Regrettably, I think he will only be charged with manslaughter. My reasoning behind this, is because a 25 year life sentence to hold Oscar Pristorous would simply be too expensive. It will cost their services tens of millions and I fear that simple costs will stand in the way of true justice here.

8 for manslaughter and out in 5, would my my guess.

Tragic, if so.

Guilty of murder, probably has done enough to get that reduced but can't see it being dismissed as self defence.

Alternatively it will be not guilty as it was consensual misunderstanding as apparently she asked him if he wanted to bang her on the shitter

I thought it was the prosecution appealing both the conviction and sentence, not Pistorius?
