Was told this today. The black socks are really very very dark blue. God I wish I could sleep!

hat's right, Dougal. You see, ordinary shops sell what look like black socks, but if you look closely, you'll see that they're very, very, very, very, very, very, very dark blue

If they were really, totally, very, very, very black, then you actually wouldn't be able to see them at all - just a black space where you should be able to see them....
