Just watched the Toyota Yaris drive happy advert, they appear to indicate that happy drivers are so busy singing they don't look at the road, one woman actually had her eyes closed. Will be very nervous around Toyotas in the future.....

Its all fantasy though, in all these ads for cars you never see any other traffic. If you believe the hype, buy car X & you'll spend your life careering round empty roads without ever meeting another vehicle. The reality is constant bumper to bumper traffic crawls, hold ups and stress

I'm driving to Wells today, with a chum and I intend to be very happy as I drive. I've not seen him in yonks.

All driving's a chore and tends to end with me very stressed and miserable. No car could change that.

Put me on a motorbike however.................
