Was that the stuff from the 70's that was like threads of green glass - bit bigger than an after eight and covered in dark chocolate? I think there were 3 pieces in a pack.

If so, I loved that! If not, I what was it?

Macaroon Bars are still made, by Lees. I got some in Scotland on a visit home to Scotland a few months back. Try their website too for the full range of products they still make, some of which are available via Mail Order!

McCowans were the manufacturers of Highland Toffee and the Irn Bru Bars. Sadly the company ceased production a few years back, but the brand names are still made by other companies. Amazon sell them too.

Tesco's now do Irn Bru Ice Lollies!
