in the night garden

I am torn as I feel objectified and it is a tad sexist but ultimately It's nice to be liked even it is by hairy arsed builders.

I can't whistle that well - I normally just let out a big phwoarr coupled with the half bent fisted arm - is this an acceptable alternative

Hehe. I think builders doing it are just traditional horsing around.

If anything, take it as a compliment and move on ; )

Its better than them NOT whistling if you think about it, at least in a way they are saying "Fuck, look at that!" lol.

I'd prefer whistles to guys almost crashing as they go past. I'm ok as appreciation is no bad thing.

If you forget how to walk properly in future, just adopt the John Cleese Ministry of silly walks walk.

I quite like them although I get really embarrassed and self conscious and think I'm going to trip over ..... But it's a bit of fun to me and makes you feel a little sexy... Although I haven't had one in ages now I think about it. ...fuck! .... This getting old Lark is boring at times

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I've never liked it. Ever. I find it unnecessarily obtrusive and arrogant. And when ignored can be followed by abuse. I'm walking down the road minding my own business. Leave me the fuck alone.

As a "hairy arsed ignorant builder" myself, i see a lot of horseplay on sites and lads wolf whistling etc.... Its only done to get a reaction, wether that reaction is a coy little smile, a cute giggle and shake of the head or an outburst of "what the fuck u looking at"....it all livens up a long day.... Oh and can i just add, most whistling, obscene comments and general sexual innuendo comes from gangs of girls these days....but u wont hear guys complaining bout it..and believe me, the girls when in groups can be worse than the lads...

Is that the French one where the gender roles are reversed?

Try travelling around town as a lone woman. Unwanted attention can be intimidating. And no one should be made to feel like that.
