Womens sizes ?

Feet sizes that is, talking to a Lady this Morning who was a size 3 she said thats a pretty common size, I'm not into Feet at all but they are so small especially compared to my size 10s, are they an average size ?

I'm a size Four and most shoe manufacturers make samples in that size.

im a 6 its pretty standard!

four is sample size because they cheaper to make and look nicer and you lucky buggers always get the bargains with samples!! x

I thought so as well, it reminded me of a Documentary on the Tele Years ago about Japenese Women who bound their Feet to make them tiny

Put it this way.... she'll probably have a wider selection of childrens shoes to choose from than adult ones lol

The average size for a woman is now a 6. It used to be a 5 and for men the average is a 9 from an 8 5 years ago. So at a size 3 she is small of foot.

Ooooh I want to hsve dainty size 3 or 4 feet!

I'm a size 8, which is fine considering my size...I'd look silly with siz3 3 feet.

Could be worse...could be my daughter - size 8 clothes and feet!!

Terrible that - didn't just keep them tiny made them so deformed it was impossible to walk. Z"

It was a bit weird to watch but fascinating at the same time

Size 5 here, and its a pain cause its usually only the smaller sizes that are left on the sale racks !!!

Ohh Zoe you just made my oldest daughters day "dont worry sweetie I know a lovely woman who gets great shoes and she has bigger feet than you" it deff made her smile

She (the daughter) is 12 and has size 6-7 feet depending on the make of shoe.

I am between a 5 and 6 so my shoes are now safe from my oldest and the youngest is not into adult sized shoes yet

If you look in the sales you see shoes under a 5 and over a 7 but not many a 5-7, so I think in my area that most women have feet around a 6.

My mother had size 3 feet and I always thought her feet were tiny - now its me who has small feet cos Steven wears huge size 11s and I cant get them in the sales either so must be a normal thing for mens feet to be that size.

Yeh thats the problem though with so many odd mums putting babys in heals these days, it's oddly geting easier. :P

She sometimes finds new thigh lengths in a size 3, so can get away with a sneaky couple of extra pairs of socks lol

Aw - tell her not to worry! I love New Look & Matalan for shoes and never have a problem getting them in a 7 - plus - I'll never blow over in a high wind!

Might be common but not usual. A size three is worn by most eight to nine year olds.

i was in Nofolk last year and saw childrns size 11 shoes with an inch heel on them!!!

call me hypocrytical of you wish as i do love my shoes but that is just wrong!!

i am a size 8 and love New look or Matalan for shoes

having said that i saw some lovely Jurt Geiger ones in Bath this weekend, just need to find someone willing to buy them for my birthday
