I think part 4 of the trilogy is equally as good as the other parts x don't get too phased by the improbability drive but then that's inevitable x and unless you're vogon or zaphod do not try a gargle blaster x and of course read enjoy but DONT PANIC !

To me the book is best, as it allows your mind to build up the scene. So many times I have read the book first then seen the film, only to be disappointed afterwards.

Certainly not, brilliant series of books, though the style of the last two is very remincent of the two Dirk Gently books (also very good, btw).
