Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I am enjoying the resurgence of ice cream parlours.

I can't wait to see the flavours in the new one this afternoon.

What's your favourite flavour?

Have you got a favourite ice cream parlour?

We went in one last night

I just had 1 scoop of pineapple in a cone. Greedy arse had 2 dobber scoops of oreo in a chocolate waffle cone.

It'll catch up with him 1 day

I prefer citrus / tropical fruit ones.

My all time favourite was an orange and lemon gelato I had in Como

Bit far to go back for another tho, so will have to make do with Rusholme for now

Salted caramel frozen yoghurt and salted caramel ice cream are both on my list of favourites.

One of Trump's many garish buildings in New York has an ice cream parlour in the basement (with indoor waterfall over gold and marble no less). I went for half and half peanut butter and chocolate with caramel and it was one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted.

I'm sure the waterfall made it all the better. That does does sound like a fantastically OTT setting for ice cream. Opulence in all things creamy.

Here too if it's any consolation

We popped into a local bakers and bought a home made madeira cake.

Thought 'will have a slice of that with a coffee when we get back'

Net result : half the cake has 'mysteriously disappeared' and the coffee was left to go cold
