I'm off to see Kate Bush on the 12th with my newish girlfreind and coming back on the Sunday. Is there anything to do in London on a Saturday night? '). All advice welcome

what type of food does she like ?

I found a very nice steak restaurant and always used to go to the crabtree when my team played Fulham as its a decent riverside pub, decent pint but I wouldn't eat there again as not overly impressed with the food

Are you trying to impress her with a top restaurant or is she a pie and pint kind of gal

I second this. Loads of places on King's Road. Depends on what OP is looking for, but the Big Easy is always great!

Look at the Londonist for things to do and you really will have lots of choice for food. You don't need to head over to Hoxton. Use the time you have a stick to the West and you'll get more done. You can use a lot of time just travelling if you have limited time and try and do too many things.

You are spoilt for choice in Fulham. The broadway has plenty of pubs and bars. Brompton Cross is a bit more upmarket but still nice. In and around south Kensington station caters for all budgets. Ken high street has all the normal restaurant chains and some good pubs. Have a walk down by Chelsea harbour and along the river. It's a great area and I wouldn't bother moving too far from it.

What I like about London is you can walk for 10 minutes and find something you want. The place is packed with places to eat and drink
