flown with them a few times with hold baggage, but this time only taking hand luggage, already checked in online,

so do we just go straight to security and passport control or do we still need to have our bags weighed etc at the front desk??

They occasionally weigh them at gate but usually as long as they look like they are the right size you'll be ok

as just cute has said. as long as your hand luggage fits the dimensions of the little cage.

dont try what we witnessed.

2 young lasses turned up with an oversize samsonite bag and at the gate the ryanair girl was charging them as it was too large.

one girl opened her rigid case, took a couple of items out, put them in friends bag and then tried to fit it in the little cage. whole queue was pissin laughing

You only need to go if you haven't checked in on line but with Ryanair you are always far better off checking in online and printing off your own boarding details.
