It's natural and genuine swingers wouldn't be bothered about it.

Just one of those things. They happen to the best of bodies. If people have a problem with something like that, they aren't worth meeting anyway.

I like them personally.

I think it can add some charcter and give the body a story

Ups and downs with different people though isn't it

In my experience no-one really cares. Nor do I. I'm a woman. I yo-yo diet. I have stretch marks. I'd be very surprised if any man gave a shit about stretch marks.

We all worry too much about the physical, mostly thanks to the media. While it's true we all have things we find attractive, stretch marks are of no consequence and if someone made out they were bothered by them I'd walk on by. Shallow people are just not for me.

Who cares ?

They have no effect on someone's personality or how sexy they look !

They are something anyone can get ? But for a woman I suppose they could make you feel uncomfortable ?

There are a lot worse things to worry about ? Stretch marks not one of them

I'll be honest and say that I don't particularly like mine. But not much you can do about them....

I think we notice our own far more than anyone else does.

Although they are a natural body happening that you shouldn't worry about the fact is that if you have a hang up... you have a hang up.

And no matter what other people say its whats in your head that needs correcting not whats visible.

I have a huge hang up about my vitiligo but I'm trying not to let it beat me. Hence attending a naturist club. Most people are bloody fantastic which helps, and a few are just ignorant idiots.

Love your body... its the only one you're getting

Very natural and part of life. Anyone who made a nasty comment is guilty of being exceedingly naff.

My tops have stretch marks, but that may be down to stupidity on my part.

I have tons of visible stretch marks, I'd rather they weren't there, but they don't particularly bother me, also don't notice them on others and it wouldn't make the slightest difference if I did, not a single person has ever commented on mine

Some like some don't some are hardly noticeable and some pretty bad I don't see any issue in people liking them or any issue in people not liking them I do have to ask why some try to force people to like them by insinuating derogatory comments about people who don't that's just plain childish.

Just where I need to be.

A year ago I was conscious of my stretch marks but met someone who changed all that. With him I felt sexy and finally became comfortable with my body. Now I have accepted they are part of my past, which I wouldn't want to change.

I shoot ladies 40 plus for various sites/mags etc and 90% of the ladies have stretch marks, its a normal and very natural thing to have be it having babies or losing weight.

Guys couples honestly don't take any notice and if you get the few shallows ones that do they aren't worth meeting anyway.

Don't ever feel embarrassed as us guys love you ladies just the way you are.

They can if they dont like you as a person or you are not the right age size colour etc, if they are petty over stretch marks then they are not worth meeting.

My two pennies worth i know but i think most people here on Fab have the same views...well except for the odd few that is.

I love seeing people that embrace them.

I'm not saying they look good particularly, but I'd rather see someone who accepts their flaws and gets on with it than someone who is constantly worrying about it. Confidence is sexy

A few weeks ago we were down the beach and a new mum n her partner were walking along, she had very red tiger stripes but was wearing a crop top and shorts like nothing was wrong - all I could see was my hubby smiling when I asked him why he just said "because it's great that she doesn't hide them when most girls would"

Personally I have quite a few since I had two kids, I figured honesty is best policy so I posted a photo that shows my figure and my marks so if anyone doesn't like me they need not contact me

On the grand whole scale if things and when thought of in a rational mind, a stretch mark or two are actually way down on my list of things to concern myself about....
