All sorts, I had broken a beautiful china teapot I had for years, and was quite upset about it, found an exact same one for a quid, bargain!

My sons entire wardrobe is from charity shops. I've never been in one.

Greater London

I get loads of stuff from charity shops. Best buy had to be a black long leather coat that came from an upmarket store that had never been worn for a £5.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I know a lot of girlys who react to charity shops in the same way I do a good second hand book shop - ie, barge small children out of the way in the rush to get in. I'm not keen myself, as in most of them, it looks like I've just missed a riot, or the goods have come from lost property at a day centre.

I love them for books, you can get some great ones that look like they're brand new or are brand new for next to nothing. Brilliant

Last one I went in had a showaddywaddy's greatest hits lp on display. I couldn't help think of only fools and horses
