How far are people willing to travel to meet someone to play/meet/social with

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I've learned the hard way - travel a long way isn't worth it, unless its combined with something else on the trip.

Now I don't like to travel more than about 90 minutes.

We always social before play so we wouldn't travel more than 10-15 miles. We also don't have a car but we wouldn't expect others to travel any further considering there's no guarantee we'll like each other.

Personally, at least for the time being, I don't really see the point in travelling more than an hour for a meet.

Though maybe in the future when my business is more established I may be in a position to consider venturing further afield as there are a few users on this site whom I would really like to meet

From Liverpool to Cardiff is the furthest I've traveled specifically to meet someone. But I've travelled to Glasgow and London and had a meet while I've been there.

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

We have done just under 2 hours a couple of times and it was definitely worth it we would usually say around an hour unless someone really special catches our eye

I don't travel distances. The last time it was a let down.

And I never arrange a meet with someone from far away as they invariably cancel and I won't put them up.

Our profile says we will meet up men up to an hour's drive away.

Assuming the guy drives that could be in theory two hours away as he'd meet us half way.

I always prefer to accommodate, i had a meet with a guy on the other side of town, and during rush hour traffic through London, when i arrived the place was a dump and minging so i left no meet no fun round trip of 2.5 hours. At lest i know my place is clean.
