Looking for advise

We are a young couple who are new to swinging we get lots of hits but not had our first meet yet cos we are to shy when we are sober and keep putting people off.looking for advise how to get over this really is it wrong that we want to get to no the people first to see if there's a click or should we jump in with both feet debs and jack x

As with everything, there is a first time.

Most of the more experienced users on this site are pretty good at making you feel comfortable, especially if it's your first time.

My advice would be not to get to worried about it.

If you arrange a meet, make it clear to whomever it is your meeting with that this is your first time.

Maybe even start with just a social meet and take it from there.

When it comes to actually getting down to it though, don't put pressure on yourself. Try and relax, but if at any point you don't feel comfortable - say so.

No one will think any less of you for it.

Wouldn't start off at a club as it's like jumping into the deep end. Maybe meet cpls for a drink first and only swing after 2 or 3rd meet

You have only been here for 2 weeks, take your time its not a race, make some friends and chat to them. When your ready have a social meet, but don't drink too much. Instead of a club try a social,

We have been doing this for quite a while now Always ! Have a social first, if you meet the kind of people you feel comfortable with and you all click, I'm sure another social before play wouldn't be a problem. By all means have one or two drinks but don't get d*unk, nothing worse than regrets in the morning .

So agree with this. Start with social, find friends, people you feel comfortable with when sober and dressed and are attracted too.

Then perhaps meet them at a club to specifically play with them. If it does not work out its easier to handle than in you are in each others homes or a hotel room.

Then figure if you'd like to meet them again. Keep doing socials, meeting possible friends and I am sure in time you'll have a number of friends you can have a lot of fun with.

I'd second the club, if it's a suitable club.

Our first time was at La Chambre in Sheffield, the ground floor is just basically a bar. You can easily just sit and chat in there and not see anything, or wander about and watch what's going on.

They also have their own forum, we chatted with people on there first. By the time we finally headed to the club, we already felt like we knew some people and they came and said hello to us.

I would also suggest, try to limit your drinking to just one or two (to calm your nerves), you are much less likely to do something you'll regret in the morning.

I'm sure someone can suggest a "suitable" club a bit nearer to you to try... Good Luck.
