Did anyone see this? If not try and get it on catch up TV. Unbelievable.

Their attitudes towards life are brilliant, but its scary they are still on the road!

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I intend to drive until I die even if I'm blind, deaf and suffering from dementia. Mostly through rush hour traffic for best effect.

Just so I can piss off all those younger than me.

Entirely understandable - one is far more likely to get chilly at a 100 years of age

I have two relatives in their 90's who still drive but, in my opinion, should hang up their keys - but not because of their age - but of their state of health and the effects it has on their abilities behind the wheel.

Reaction times, attitudes etc.

But you just try telling them this!

You also have to consider that when people in their 80's and 90's first learned to drive, there was a lot less traffic on the road, and many of them just can not cope with the pace these days.

How many times have we been stuck behind someone plodding along at 30mph in a 60 limit - but can't overtake because of the winding nature of the road.

Unfortunately the current system allows such people to continue driving past the age of 70 due to 'self certification' - in other words, you aren't required to undergo any medical examinations - you simply state that you are still fit to drive.

This clearly needs to be changed.

Were they wearing head-wear and pulling out at junctions?
