"....but everything else that happens to lead to that point is so depressing and sad that I couldn't possibly feel good after watching it......" The same could be said of Green Mile & Shawshank- both featuring death, violence, wrongful imprisonment and despair.....and two of the best things to ever come out of Hollywood. I'd also throw in Once Were Warriors and Million Dollar Baby, two dark and depressing films that are so well written and acted that you know you've just spent two hours of your life watching pure class, instead of the usual crap churned out- always makes me feel good | |||
