Titz Towers, North Notts

Great film. Ruddy emotional, too. Cracking cast.

Liverpool

Great film, Pete Postlethwaite was a legend.

Have played most of the music in various brass bands and orchestras down the years, and was lucky enough to appear as part of the band in a professional stage version.

That must have been brilliant.

I have seen this film loads of times, for me the best bit is in the hospital where the nurse mentions about shutting the band up.

Elland

Ewen McGregor doing the worst Yorkshire accent ever...

Only 2 saving graces of this drivvle is Pete Pothestweit (ok can't spell his name) and part was filmed in Halifax

"That must have been brilliant. "

It was very exciting - not only from a performance point of view... The cute Toby Sawyer (I strongly suspect he's a fan of bbc - not the broadcasting corporation...) was in the cast, and I dated one of the stage managers a few years later.
