I once tried to write a comedy set based on Boris Johnson, but gave it up. I'm not going to pretend to have any expertise or much talent in that line, but cripes, I couldn't do the man justice. The stuff he's done is far beyond the realms of any material I could produce.

Unlike the US, we dont get to vote for leader, just our local MP. He will stand in a very safe seat, with no chance of losing. He would be a very bad move for the country. Ultra right wing, regressive and divisive - that sort of thing has been tried before and it does not support the population at large's well being, only the wealthy. As the conservatives have not managed to get a clear winning majority for some time, and have fallen so much in recent decades, this could be the move to kill them off. He is a con man chancer but more than call me Dave.

Won't be the next pm as only chance he has is of Conservative leader is if the Tories have a bad performance at the general election next year under Cameron who then steps down.

BJ is well known around the world and would make a great PM as he is very down to earth and when he talks he sounds like an old school Englander compared to most MP's. He may have his faults and a touch sly, but then is any MP perfect?

Shame he is a Tory but would rather have BJ 4 PM then Cameron or Milliband.

Personally, I think he'd be an excellent Prime Minister. One thing no-one can argue about is that he has personality!

He's popular with Londoners and the whole bumbling buffoon act is just a front - he's actually very intelligent. Interestingly, he also qualifies for the post of President of the United States as he was born in America.

He's intelligent enough to dupe some people but stupid and more than arrogant enough to think we'll consider his extreme right wing policies and bent will work in the average person's favour. A total sleaze ball without much moral backbone. When I want Coco the clown I'll visit a circus, but that desperate pig would be another nail in the UK's coffin. He should try standing in a non Tory seat and not a safe one but he's just a lightweight.

.

It's a hard argument to argue as it's one of those subjects where one side is unwilling to be honest about the reality, a bit like the pro hunters or the pro gun lobby.

They're number one point should be I like shooting foxs and I like guns and it's a perfectly reasonable point but instead they skirt the issue and come up with nonsense like we're doing a service or its a tradition.

It's the same with many issues and brexit is no different there number one argument should be, i don't want unlimited amounts of foreigners just waltzing in!.

Again it's a perfectly OK position to have but due to the world we live in nobody wants to admit the truth any more, brexit should just be honest and make their case.

Boris is a highly intelligent but lazy cunt. He does more than a cursory revision of the facts and figures he needs before an inter_iew and starts to bluster when his answer falls short. If it is going really badly he resorts to speaking in Latin.

The problem this country has at the moment is a real lack of talent in both leading political parties.
