near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Been there all week on a stand in the static tractors section and will be there tomorrow! Been bloody muddy all week but finally starting to dry out. Car parks are fine ATM. Been talking to people from all over the world, European, South African and New Zealand!

The Great Dorset Steam Fair is the largest of it`s type in the world and it`s steam fairground and agricultural as well as cars, bikes, lorries, heavy horses, crafts, food, etc. There is a steam railway locomotive on site but not in the area it was intended as the bloody thing weighs best part of 100 tonnes before you add the lorry carrying it!

Titz Towers, North Notts

Is it wrong that I am now picturing a massive cast iron steam punk automated dildo machine (pat pending) with some guy in a waistcoat and chain shovelling coal into the back of it, whilst trying to persuade someone to strap themselves to the bench?

. Bloody fantastic few days.. Well worth the visit.. If you into the traction engines go to the play pen..... Stay till dark and see the showmanship engines line up. .. It does take the 5days to see it all.. Hope it's not too muddy .

Echo all of that! Love it after dark, stood up with your back to the boiler of a showman`s engine with the smell of the hot oiland burning coal, the hum of the dynamo, the snick, snick, snick as the belt joiner passes over the pulleys and the heat keeping you warm!

Benn drying up fast all day and should be dry on Sunday.
