Ok guys so I see a lot of threads about cars and it seems some of you have a lot of knowledge

At the moment I have a seat Ibiza, I've had it 3years and it's been great (I got it second hand) and now I'm wanting something bigger

Not sure on budget, I'm just after some advice on what cars are good. I would either like something with a big boot or 7seats. Need to get 3 child car seats in the back if it's not got 7 seats

I also hear that French cars are not good so that's Renault and Peugeot and what others?

Thanks in advance

If you go for something German or Japanese then I don't think you can go too far wrong.

I think VW have a 7 seater which is quite highly rated.

And I would agree, French cars are pretty crap and you are best to stay away from them

Also try looking at reviews on the autotrader or top gear websites.

I had a 207 and it was a great little runaround.

All cars have problems so don't just knock something back because of a bad experience?

Zafira's are good solid but with a small engine can drink fuel ?

Most 7 seaters are pretty much similar make sure if its a new car get the best deal you can ? If its a used one you get someone to check it over for you ( a full service history would be a good start )

Rule 1 on buying a car is test drive lots. despite being very similar in size there are some cars that after a few miles give me cramp in the back of my throttle foot, others give me a back ache etc. Once you have a short list of right sized cars you can drive comfortably then check the reviews on those models. Make is less important than fit.

I'm just about to buy my 9th Peugeot/ Citroen, had very little problem with any of them in the 20 years of buying them. I just make sure they're looked after like you should with all cars.

The worst car I had was a Ford,
