"The bolder and braver you are with your hair - the more experimental you are in the bedroom?" how do you work that one out

"The bolder and braver you are with your hair - the more experimental you are in the bedroom?" Terrible theory. When I had electric blue and bright red hair I was a Virgin and timid. Hair colour has nothing to do with sexual personality/prowess.

"xxl is rubbish. Manic Panic is the best. I have dyed my hair all sorts of colours and found that to be the best for coverage and lasting. but if you go red she may not need her hair bleached as one particular colour you can get in salon lifts as it tints. Ive used it on mine and my hair was reasonably dark at the time. also if she wants to keep her hair is good condition still conditioning masks/treatments and very good quality shampoo will help loads! also allowing her hair to towel dry and not using heated styling tools as well. (I'm a hairdresser not just getting on) lol " Thankyou very much x lots of useful advice to consider x I understand a quality conditioning product and mask will protect her hair x We will discuss red tones at her next appt x - might just go for slices of colour as a starting point?

It's only semi permanent but it lasts a good time and is really vibrant easy to apply and as previously said the range of colours is good.

"Have you spoken to the hair stylist about the stress on your sub's hair from bleaching and extreme colour? That is, if you're wanting to do something like go blonde to go pink. The extreme colours can fade quickly, depending on both the colour and your sub's hair texture. It can stain the towels after washing, as well. They really can require a LOT of upkeep to keep up with covering new growth and colour fade. " Her hair now it's short is in great condition x It grows quickly - perhaps half a centimetre in two weeks - so just a little bit of root showing x Sub is at that age where there is a hint of grey in an area behind her ears and below her crown x She has dyed and maintained her hair with a mixture of home used and salon products for decades x

" yes that would be a very good starting point start gradually and build up you may get to a point you love and keep to it. I always personally go bright all over but I know what I like and what suits me as have experience with bright colours on my skin tone but if you are not sure baby steps is the best way to go

"Going from dark hair to light is a major task and rightly so her stylist has suggested the hi lites route. However, making the hair lighter will damage the hair as it leaves it more porous. You will also have to consider the upkeep, if she has dark roots (even brown will look dark against platinum blonde), her roots will need doing regularly. As for crazy colours in the hair, whichever product you use will need alot of upkeep as they wash out quite quickly to leave a faded, and less appealing colour x" Thankyou very much for your advice x you sound like you are talking from experience x

That doesn't sound promising - do you have any advice / products from your experience that would minimise the risk of this happening? X" I'm having to do a mask once a week as my hair is like straw. The photo of me with pink hair is on my profile. I used xxl pink. Don't use directions as they are crap. There's a new wash in\ out colour in boots called bleach. There red is fantastic. Do it for 15 mins the first time then every time u wash ur hair wash ur hair with normal shampoo, then put it on like a conditioner leave on for a couple on mins and rince for a boost

"BBlonde conditioning mask for bleached hair to protect it. Renbow Crazy Colour for choice, vibrancy and slightly better staying power. Xxl is totally cack stay away from it. If you're gonna use Crazy Colour order online and in bulk, 4/5 at a time and it works out cheaper but make sure you buy from a proper online trader or you could end up with useless cheap imitation rubbish. I bleached, dyed and maintained my own hair for 3 years changing the colour regularly, as long as you use the right products i.e. colour protect shampoo and conditioner and regularly treat with conditioning mask, it'll be absolutely fine " Agree with this...I get mine 4 at a time through amazon. Never had any problem.

Heat opens the cuticle (which is where the colour molecules sit), keeping the cuticle as smooth as possible will help the colour last longer. Oh yes and colour shampoos and conditioning masks will also improve the hairs condition and maintain the colour for longer x
