One thing ive noticed on these forums on here is, when someone posts a topic or genuiene question there always has to be some who comment back with nasty remarks, puttin the persons question down and takin the piss out of them!

Why? Its ugly, unneccasery and if i saw some1 makin comments like tht it wud put me off any potential meet!

Jeeeez its only a sex forum not flippin question time...chill!!

I completely agree with you, I was once a charming young man, very polite and caring, but after being shot down on a number of occasions it turned me into a forum wanker like the majority of them!

I suddenly realised why I use the forums..... For my own entertainment, not others

Some topics are naturally emotive - I see no harm in that, healthy and heated debate are a good thing.

Others are done to death and the response reflects that.

And other responses, it has to be said are prompted (not always accidentally) by the tone of opening posts.

There is no real disharmony on the forums but plenty of strong personalities - that's no bad thing.

Yup... back in the day I used to moderate on the Gumtree forums and I have a vague memory of some suggesting I should be raped with a broken glass bottle.

This place is full of pussy cats. I find if someone is mean or nasty to me, the best way to deal with it is to be exceptionally nice to them. Nothing will make someone look like a total prick if they're being a twonk to you when you haven't said anything bad.

There seems to be a spate of threads suggesting this recently. But equally whenever there's a face swap thread or people you'd like to meet type thread there are inevitably comments about cliques and the forum being one big love in.

I guess it's down to perspective
