Interesting Horizon program on BBC 2. Asking why are more people becoming allergic to stuff...

So far, 13 mins in, it's because we are too clean.

Interesting thoughts, but they'll leave the major conclusion till the end. Sadly, big brother eviction is on - shaming myself to the world for watching this - so will have to watch it another time, as I like Horizon.

My eldest got chicken pox a few days before attending a summer school. Was gonna back out...the wife (a senior nurse) of the organiser said nooooo! Contacted the other parents and said...definitely come...give it to everyone you can!

you've never heard of it? parents would let the children play together in the hope that they got it early on as the thought was once they had it they couldn't get it again.

some would argue gonorrhea parties already happen wit all of the bb threads on here
