Boring messages!

So was bored at work scrolling through profiles.

The amount of people saying make messages interesting so thought I'd go on what their profile stated about them and send a long cheeky detailed message (not filth) a few non imaginative people out there!

I think the main complaint is that a lot cut and paste the same generic message to all and its really bland and uninteresting.

The forum rules forbid the posting of messages but in general they are hows you im xxxx been here xxxx looking for xxx or something similar.

I always keep my messages simple, I don't just dive in head 1st with rude messages as not everyone likes that, I just try find out what sort of things they like, and its always good to have a talk 1st before anything happens, rather than being a dirty dog and being like "your sexy want to fuck?" But everyones got there own prefrences

I always reply with 'I find it using my browser in the usual manner one searches on the internet'

I think it's a Polo line from days of old. What a stupid question though... how are you supposed to answer that? It just shows (a) a total lack of imagination (b) an uninteresting person who doesn't have the savvy to pick a point in a profile and make a joke or a comment on something which shows they've at least skim read the blurb (c) copied and pasted a generic message that hundreds have seen and deleted before me. Yawn!

I'm not sure about finding inspiration on here...

There are only a finite amount of situations a person can get into sexually, remove those you won't do and it's even less...

I travel for my inspiration, look to messages... Never.

I've tried differant approaches to initial messages over the years.

Initially I tended to say a bit about me and pick up on any pointers in the recipients profile.

More recently I've send a joke with my message.

However, my latest approach has been to rewrite my introductory message as a poem !! Definately improved the response rate.

Guys just need to be a little creative and imaginative sometimes.

I find the " Hi what ya into " memo's occasionally amusing from a sarcastic point of view. I have been known to write back, stating the obvious. What l and my sub are into is posted in my profile..l wanted to conluded with " dickwad" but politeness forbids me.

On the subject of profiles, why do quite a few people list sm in their profiles when they have no ( a ) knowledge of this area of play ( b ) go huh !!! When you ask them about their sm protocols, limits, booundaries etc.

Agreed, quite demoralizing when you make the effort to put together a detailed message only to find "Read Deleted" in your sent messages, suffering with damn RSI

Because there's lots of different levels. People can take things at their own pace and choose the level they enjoy.
