Body Type... am i Curvy? (bloke)

I wouldn't say I'm curvy (as I always took that to be a euphemism for fat, when it comes to blokes bodies) but I'm not sure Average is accurate enough, I don't want to be lying on my profile after all.

what do you think... 5'5, 36waist can be a bit loose at times, large size shirts (but sometimes get away with medium if its a big medium).

I can never be accused of exercising either

am I curvy or average?

Not curvy. I'd never use the word curvy to describe a guy. Just sounds weird!

little house on the praire

You could put ample but you've got good clear pictures on your profile so someone can see if your the type they want to meet.

To be honest I never read the body type I just look at the pictures and make my own mind up.

Im not swayed here by others, have not read any replies. I assume a 5ft 9 to 11 guy with a 32 waist is slim and should be average. We have an obesity epidemic, but I dont let that increase the 'average' body type description to now mean borderline very over weight. A 6 foot guy can get away with 36 inch waist, imo, if he has a hulking frame to match, otherwise could still be overweight. Id put the op, without scrutinising his photos, as overweight, unless he has a very large frame and is exceptionally muscled - though those muscles dont usually cluster around the waist. Unless trousers are worn too high, with the waist by your rib cage, because leg length was not available below 32 inches, and they werent shortened, then I think your waist carries an inch or so more than is ideally defined as slim. But my definition of slim is not the median or mean average for our population, so I will differ from some. The only description I am assuming could be wrong is skinny. You can always leave your own adjective out, and just use photos and written measurements to let your potential partners decide if you fit their needs.

For here average and ditch curvy for all men its a bit effeminate for a male description.

even if I leave my own adjectives out if it all, unfortunately FAB won't allow that from Profile info.

I don't know if the Female & TvTs profile options are the same but the options are Slim, Athletic, Average (nice and vague), Curvy (bit of a feminine description), Ample (again, a bit vague- is ample a good or a bad thing), Large and Fabulous (even more ambiguous).

Still... I'm honest and upfront with my pics- I suppose I shouldn't think of it too much.

Op - some users may search for some parameters, so it is worthwhile having a reasonably reflective descriptive label - hence your search. Ample sounds ok. You could take a look at some make profiles, and check their use of the labels to guage which is the most apt. Good luck!
