fancying a night away on Saturday, just the two of us. Does anyone recommend Jesmond? Or can anyone suggest somewhere not too farfrom durham as its only for one night. Thank you. X

How about Bamburgh? It is lovely up there and only about an hour up the A1

Hexham is a lovely town with easy access to Haidrians wall and kielder forest.
