From,here,n.Ireland,we travel to Dublin and use either aer lingus or Ryanair.

im finding cheap flights out there but expensive coming back grrr .... does anyone think it bit risky to book accommodation and book flights night or couple of days before ? xx

I've always thought flights would go cheap nearer the date but they don't seem to.

Could you look at a package deal - in July I booked GC 4 days b4 I went using a famous last minute site

I am flying Ryanair from Manchester in November and paid £122, all depends on when you book, who is available from your local airport and when you are going of course but I usually look on skyscanner or cheapflights as well as checking directly with ryanair, easyjet, jet2, thomson, thomas cook and flybe.

Bottom line is, you have to put some time in to find the best deal
