What an odd thing to say. It will be a sad day when his brother David dies but today is the day that Richard is being remembered for his life.

"Thank god it wasnt his brother"

i'm sure that is exactly how his brother feels right now

i have to admit i did get a bit confused and thought it was David when i saw it on facebook as i am a huge David Attenborough fan but this is still a sad story. Richard's films have been grat. I dot think i have watched many early ones but i enjoyed him in Miracle on 34th Street and Jurassic park.

Tragedy is not judgmental about where it will strike. His response was to raise money for the local people affected by the tsunami to help them rebuild their lives and their homes.

That was a beautiful tribute.

The most lovely part was about how much he and his wife were devoted to each other. Married in 1945 and together until his death yesterday.
