If they take pictures with an up angle they are usually shorter than they say, but if they take a photo next to a door or in the kitchen you can see the height straight away. (Door frames don't lie and all have a standard height)

The same happened to me about 5yrs ago, I always thought I was 5'8 then I went to the doctors and a nurse told me I was in fact 5'9, and who am I to argue with a health professional . now I could just do with an extra inch elsewhere
