No, not quoting the opening scene to Scream, but just started to watch The Haunting in Connecticut, I've seen it before but it's not the scariest or movie that's made me jump at times, that one goes to The Women in Black.

What's the scariest movie you've seen?

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Love scary movies.

The one that makes me jump no matter how many times I watch it is "Event Horizon"

Didn't find woman in black scary at all...

I hate scary films as I'm a massive wimp.

Don't Look Now is a cracking thriller though.

Not an obviously scary one as it's more psychological than graphic: Magic, starring Anthony Hopkins from years back. He had a ventriloquist's dummy which was very sinister! You were left wondering at the end if it was a metaphor for Hopkins' character's dark side. Still makes me shudder to think of the film, though not seen it for years

Staines

I thought Blair Witch Project was pretty terrifying at the time. Much imitated since but clever back then

I thought switchblade romance was quite scary but recently saw the originally Carrie and thought that was more funny than scary, until the last scene!

Movies just aren't scary anymore.

Too much reliance on jump scares than actually scaring the viewer.

I like Blair Witch. It's a genuinely freaky film with no Hollywood BS or cgi.

I'd love someone to come up with a film/game for the oculus rift or morpheus.

There's disturbing films I've seen. Like a Serbian film. Kinda sets the bar high enough to make every other film pale in comparison.

I do love Trick R Treat, Switchblade Romance, Candyman, American Werewolf in London, Alien.

To name a few horrors.

Bet it's mainly jump scares. Which work in a cinema but only in home if you have a good system.
