Overheard a comment while out last night. Gave since looked up on a few news sites.

Most of the "British" (I use the term loosely) Jihadists and indeed most European fighters and a lot of the financial support for ISIS/ISIL/IS is apparently being sent through Turkey.

This seems to be with covert blessing of Turkey.

We are considering letting this country into Europe.

Remembering that Turkey was the centre of the last Islamic Caliphate/Empire (Ottoman)....people's opinions on costing up to Turkey?

Why arn't the rich arabic states with very capable air forces of their own doing anything about the IS?

NATO went into the balkan conflict to stop the killing of Muslims. Has Saudi Arabia etc returned the favour? Have they fuck.

They play us like fools and our governments do nothing about it.

That's just how the world works.
