Tries it on with you, not knowing you're into the swinging lifestyle, do you feel flattered?

Or feel insulted that they look at you as being.... 'Easy'

Had to smile at this...know exactly what you mean but I find this lifestyle has given me a newfound confidence about myself which I think guys/people notice. Nothing about looking or thinking you're easy x

feel insulted that they would think I would betray a friend and disgust that they would sink so low as to try it themselves.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'd feel annoyed that s/he has put me in a position to have to hide something from my friend.

Sometimes lines get blurred with people you know well or spend a lot of time with as there is an intimacy to that. I don't think it means being easy or about being flattered.

I would be disgusted if a friends partner tried it on with me, regardless if they had knowledge of my swinging hobby.

The lifestyle has little to do with it, because (assuming) you friend & their partner is not in the lifestyle.

Its just exactly what it looks like - your friends other half being an asshat.

This! I wouldn't consider whether I was flattered or insulted. I'd think my friend had picked an utter knobend and I'd tell her he made a pass at me. I'm painfully honest because I know for a fact that I'd want to know if the tables were turned.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

This has happened to me, and they were left in no uncertain terms that a friendship that stretched back more than 20 yrs was not going to be compromised for the sake of a quick shag behind ma mate's back

Thankfully he dumped her a month or so later

Not everyone does want to know though. They may "know" but choose not to know.

I am very aware of situations where this has happened and the female friend blamed the woman and not her partner.

As to feeling that one is thought of as easy then that's as much about what one thinks of oneself at the time.

To an extent mixed replies.. Been interesting to see them. He is a knob...

I think had they known I was in the lifestyle they would feel that I was 'open' to his 'cheating'

I wouldn't think it made me seem 'easy'! The other person is the one with the problem, not me.

Yup... I can only speak for how I feel. I would absolutely trust my friendship.

I'm with my best mate now and I asked her what she'd want me to do in that situation. There was no hesitation when she said that she'd want me to tell her.

Then we talked about how some women wouldn't want that, both able to recall examples. Definitely not for me to bury my head.

So did she know? I don't understand.

Why on earth would the fact that you're a swinger make you any more likely to have sex with any old Tom, Dick or Harry?

She didn't know.

It certainly comes across from people I chat to that being 'open' about sex makes you open to sleeping with married/attached people

I got mixed up when you said "had they known" sorry.

I suppose some people do think that women who swing will have sex with anyone...

Cheaters are cheaters.

It's little to do with this or any lifestyle.

I would not take interest shown as meaning someone sees me as something other than interesting. Id find it distasteful if it was from a friends partner, done secretively and my loyalty would be to my friend, not satisfying lust. Id hope others would treat me with the same respect, if I had a matching relationship. You can find sex easily but friends are worth more than their weight in gold.

I think others have answered this question better but I just wanted to echo what someone else said near the beginning... which is that I personally feel that since coming onto Fab and really rethinking the whole 'sex' thing... that I've become a lot more engaged and flirtatious with others. So if someone came on to me I'd probably imagine it was because I'm just giving off those signs now anyway... so they're just picking them up. I don't think that makes me 'easy', as I still reserve the right to refuse any situation I don't want to get into, but it does make me more 'open' and seemingly 'available'

I can't really comment on your situation as I don't know how you come across as a person... but I just thought I'd add this comment about myself in case it resonated with anyone else out there

I have, I found it a joke to be honest.

Thinking I would trash on my mate, to some a fuck is worth more than what is real.

Fair point- it's like people who are open to having a relationship when they previously weren't. They are more friendly/ smiley and people will react to that and be more friendly in return. Whereas in the past they may have been more guarded and their body language would have shown that.

(I'm not saying that people who want a relationship are easy... or those that don't want a relationship are grumpy..!)

Would never happen with any of my friends partners.( Or visa versa) We are all old school, where unwritten rules are still adhered to ... Being swingers does not make us have values and morals of a mutant sewer rat ... At all wheather they knew of that or not

INSULTED.....

Under the circumstances you describe,it is never a compliment..

He has no respect for you ..or for your friend..

He wouldn`t even understand that tho..God knows how many other women the sleaze bag tries it on with...
