all evening i have been tryng to work out why my laptop wasnt workng everytime i tried to turn it on it made a funny noise then did nothing....turned out the power cable had disconnected from the adaptor and it had jst ran out of juice

Did that with ma PC once, the cable had come slightly loose. Even changed the fuse . Face/palm
