OK, here goes for my first new forum post.....

I've recently seen the comment, a suit on a man is to a woman what lingerie on a woman is to men.

So...Is this really true, do you like men in suits, say for a daytime meet or social, just in the evening, dinner????

IF the suit fits well, the man looks comfortable and confident and the trousers aren't shiny and/or the pockets overstuffed then a man in a suit is my favourite male outfit.

I've not noticed suits doing anything for me.

A guy I am attracted to is attractive in most things, within reason.

Someone who doesn't do it for me isn't going to be improved by a suit.

At least, that's what my conscious mind says.

In my previous working environment all the guys wore suits, so it was just the norm and I took it for granted. My working environment now - guys dress far more casually. So I do tend to really notice a guy in a well fitted suit and yes it's a look I really like.

Like others have said though, some guys look bloody great in casual clothes. As long as it's not a shell suit or a mankini!

I'm very arrogant I make anything look good , I don't wear suits as I feel they are, clichéd , stuffy and in essence an easy ubiquitous uniform that although apparently smart lack personality as a rule

I mean the suit not the person wearing one

All that said I genuinely understand why some ladies love it
